Oh, what a night!

I haven't written about this yet, so I thought I'd just drop a few lines about Jersey Boys! My godmother's brother-in-law, John, very kindly got me a ticket to see the show a the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood two Sundays ago.

Now, I'm not generally a fan of musicals. I get really tired of all the singing - you can see how that might be a problem. But I REALLY enjoyed this particular musical. It was artfully put together, full of choice lines and super funny. I think I was grinning/giggling almost the whole way through (except the sad bits, obviously). I loved the way they used the stage, and old movies of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Also, I had no idea how many of those old songs that everybody seems to know were actually the Four Seasons! It was sing-along-worthy, and I did indeed sing along and clap! So much fun! I can't wait until they run Wicked (Dec-Feb)!

The Pantages itself is a GORGEOUS theatre. We're unfortunately not allowed to take pictures inside, which didn't stop me. What did stop me was the overzealous usher. I got one sneaky inside shot though, and a few of the lobby, so here they are!
