Intrepid small (South African) fish in a very big pond, studying in LA and, in my spare time, exploring with my backpack, camera and the biggest smile I can muster.

Likes: Kerouac (obviously), old books, skipping ropes, hammocks, sunpatches, windows, eyelashes, chocolate, tea, poetry, yoga, frozen yoghurt, laughing, exploring, the sea, ferris wheels and carousels, cats, smiles, making friends, learning new things, Maya Angelou, live music, taking good photographs, record players, typewriters, Art Deco buildings, harmonicas.
Dislikes: chauvinism, racism, intolerance of any sort, power trips, forgetting things, blisters, people who try to put me in a box.
